Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Noir Nights Hunt

Noir Nights Hunt
Noir Nights kicked off on the 9th, and we could barely wait for it to start! The theme is a great one, the store line up contained a nice mix of familiar faces and new spots to explore and it's been a while since we had done an adult hunt. We were not disappointed - even as early as we did the hunt (same day it opened), we had no problem at all getting through the hunt path. There is an official blog with SLurls and hints, as well as an in-world group for hunters who like the more social aspects or need a little extra help. Be sure to check the blog often, as it is being kept up to date with any changes to the hunt path. (Note: As of posting this, the store had the item out but not for sale has been corrected, so all 54 stores are good to go!)

The gifts were amazing - the photobug in me was squeeing in joy through the whole unpack/photograph process at seeing so many poses and pose props in addition to the expected gorgeous clothing offerings. And - BONUS - the men scored some pretty nice things too, so don't be shy about rounding up your better half when you hit the hunt path.
