Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. If you would like to follow the events being posted there, here is a link to the album page for our account: Flickr Albums. These are not blog posts, but simply pictures of the gifts available. Thank you!

Thank You to all of the creators!

Cart Sale @ The Wash

Its that time of year again, folks - the BiAnnual Cart Sale event hosted by The Wash is in full swing from now until March 26th!  Twice a year, designers from all over SL come together at the Wash and take over the streets, filling them with carts and carts of goodies for the discriminate shopper.  All the cart items are 10L or under and you can pick up everything from the newest fashions to home decor and everything in between, including a few naughty items for the more adventurous this year.  Happy shopping!

Event Duration:  February 26th to March 19th
Location:  The Wash

Cheers,
Shadowed

  1. This blog is more and more off-topic... No more hunts item showed but paying ones only...

  2. Which kinda falls under one of the first sentences at the top of the page: " One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic HUNTS, SALES, and GIFTS from all the wonderful creators." SALES. See how that works? I am not blogging hunts and have not been blogging hunts for almost a year. I am burned out on hunting. Its better to at least cover other events and sales than to completely shut down the blog. If you prefer an all-hunts only blog, I am sure there are others out there.
