Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. FutureWave, pt. 3


FutureWave officially opened with a bang - the coordinators were stunned/thrilled with the popularity of the brand new event as the sim filled to its max within a very short time of being made open to the public. The merchants taking part have really hit some new creative highs with this theme and hopefully this will be the beginning of a new event tradition for Cursed Events to host.

That being said, as a reminder to folks visiting the event, please be kind and limit your scripts when you get there - meaning no combat huds or other high lag-causing items. Whenever you get a lot of avatars in the same place, lag is inevitable so do your part and leave the worst of your fashion offenders at home.

We have just a couple more things to show you in this post. Should we luck out and get our hot little hands on anything else, we will be adding it to this third event post as an update.
