Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Its almost Christmas!

And I have been crazy busy with getting ready for the holidays - so busy, I thought I posted this already and realized today that I didn't, so my apologies to the Happy Holidays Cart Sale folks!   This sale is going on right now (until December 31st) at the Wash.  The streets and stores are snow-covered and decked out for the holidays and in lieu of the usual carts lining the streets, the Happy Holiday elves have set out lovely little christmas trees for the merchants to fill with special items for this sale.  Each merchant has one special item set at 50L and the rest of their holiday wares set at the usual cart sale price of 10L.

If you haven't visited yet or you just need a little breather from the hectic pace of this time of year, this would be a really fun way to spend some time in SL.
