Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. The Black Event @ The Wash, pt.1

I have been a long-time part-time blogger for The Wash events, as most of you know. Right now, The Wash is hosting a Black Event which is really amazing. They have 55 designers with an amazing, HUGE array of items set up for the low, low price of 10L or under PLUS a freebie from each designer. If you are looking for something to do this weekend, you should head over and check them out - I will be cross-posting items from the event here from The Wash's official blog to share with our readers.

Those of you familiar with The Wash's Cart Sales know the drill already - be kind to other shoppers and leave your high script items at home to help keep lag to a minumum. There is a lot to see on the sim and a lot of monolith stalls to check out, so give yourself plenty of time to let things rez. There is mesh stuff, there is petite stuff, there is stuff for the guys, there is stuff for your home - pretty much, if you need/want it, you will be able to find it.
