Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Out of This World 2 Hunt

Out Of This World 2 Hunt
Eclectic Dreams Hunts presents the second Out of this World Hunt, running from July 1 to July 31, and it is a delightful romp through 42 stores offering all kinds of goodies for the hunters. There are some really cute builds and some awesome avis and clothing items to be found. You are searching for a little green alien (the same cutie from the first hunt for those of you who did that one last time around) and he pops up in some pretty unusual places. The hunt went really smoothly - we did it just a day or so after it started, and while there are a couple bumps still being ironed out, the online official blog and the in-world hunt group can give all the information you need to navigate the hunt until everything is settled. And, for the faint of heart - despite the plethora of aliens and alien ships on this hunt, we didn't run into a single cattle prod! So round up your friends and set aside some time to explore these shops and have some fun hunting aliens!
