SL Freebie Hunters: Harvest Moon Halloween Hunt

Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Harvest Moon Halloween Hunt

This was an interesting little quickie hunt. There are only 14 shops taking part, and for the most part, they were all new to us. The format of this hunt is a bit different as well - some stores gave objects and some gave folders, but the only way to get the LMs for the next location is by clicking on the hunt sign at each store. It was a little confusing keeping the various gifts straight since there is no set format for them among the stores taking part, but for such a short hunt path, it wasn't terribly difficult. We just dumped it all into one big folder since we were able to get the next LM separately from each location's hunt sign.

This hunt runs for a very short time, but it was a great way to spend the evening. The shops and sims were a lot of fun to explore, and we had a good time. =)
