Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. WGF'13, part 2

It's only day 2 of World Goth Fair 2013 currently going on is SL and you amazing SL residents have already beaten last year's donation amount! The sims have both been packed whenever I have dropped by, so expect a wee bit of lag now and then and if for some reason you have trouble teleporting in, just keep trying. There are tons of designers taking part and all kinds of gothy good stuff from clothing to jewelry to skins and furnishings. There are even specialty items for petites and tinies!

 Just a bit of information to share: There are stores set up on 2 sims, and not all stores have a presence on both, so be sure to check out the 2 locations in order not to miss anything. Club Gothika is on the Cursed sim and they are keeping their normal DJ schedule, so expect some awesome music while you are there. Both sims have gacha areas where you can score some really great deals - including some exclusive items for the Fair plus Cursed has a section with official (special permission was given to use the logos!) band t-shirts. Each shop has at least 1 item which is exclusive to the Fair and from which 100% of the proceeds is given to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
