Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Beach Party @ The Wash, and You're Invited!

The Wash sim is known for their Cart Sales and other events throughout the year, and they have decided to kick off summer in a grand fashion: The Beach Party is officially underway!  Over 60 designers from all over SL are taking part in this event and the sim is just overflowing with all kinds of summer must-have items.   The Wash has been turned into a beach with the streets are filled with sand and beach balls, the designers have set up their wares on beach towels scattered over the sim and we are anticipating beautiful SL sunny weather for the duration of the event.

We were lucky enough to score tons of great items from this event and will be showcasing them here over the next few days.  Direct SLurls to the individual store towels can be found at the directory listed below.

The Beach Party runs from June 5th until June 19th.  All items are 10L or under, with the addition of special event items for 50L.  Grab some sunscreen, a cold drink and come on down to the Party!
