SL Freebie Hunters: Suck It, Cupid!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Suck It, Cupid!

Its that time of year again for SL to be flooded with heart, flowers and fat little cherubs flitting around shooting arrows at people. Ever want to shoot one back at the little buggers? Here is your chance to tell Cupid what you think of him with the Suck It, Cupid! Hunt Event currently going on in SL. There are 20 shops set up with a gridwide hunt (you are looking for the Suck It! icon as your hunt item) and there is a bonus mini hunt once you reach the end. Additionally, there will be a masquerade wrap party on February 17th to celebrate surviving another Valentine season in one piece. The wrap party will include live music, cash prizes and gifts. We have a peek at some of the gifts you can find along the hunt path just to help get you in the mood to put those foul little love-spreaders in their place.
