Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. The Cart Sale - Summer Edition, pt. 4

Great Googly Moogly! I have one more monster batch of yumminess from the current Cart Sale event going on at the Wash. This is an amazing event that occurs several times a year, but this summer edition has absolutely rocked!

Over 65 merchants are participating, everything on their carts is available for the crazy low price of 10L, and the clock is ticking if you haven't made a trip over to check it out. There are only 5 days (including today) left of the event, and then these deals are gone - melted away like ice cream left in the sun.

I know there are tons of events, fairs, sales, hunts, etc going on in Second Life at any given time, all vying for your time and lindens, but this is truly an event you do not want to miss. The core designers who do the event each round are rock solid, the new stores who have joined are contributing some gorgeous stuff, and the price is definitely right if you want to "try out" a designer who is new to you without risking a lot of lindens. Not to mention - who doesn't love some retail therapy to spruce up your home and wardrobe with each new season?
