Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Sunny Side Up Cart Sale, p.2

We're still a few weeks from summer proper, but that isn't slowing anyone down at the Sunny Side Up Cart Sale! The streets are filled with sand, the surf boards are tempting you from every corner, and the riotous blast of colors, prints and designs instantly transport you from your mundane, every day world into a tropical shopping paradise.

The merchants have done a fabulous job in putting together summery, feel good designs that will make it easy to update your closet and home for the coming summer season. Guys, you haven't been left behind either - there are several kiosks with great summer items for you too! As with all Cart Sale Events, items are priced at 10L each, and for this round, many of the merchants have put out special 50L items. This is a time sensitive deal, though - once the event ends on May 16th, prices go back to normal. Hope to see you there.
