Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Sun-Sational Summer Fun at The Wash!

 
Hey hey all you bargain shoppers! The Sun-Sational Summer round of the Cart Sales is in full swing at The Wash! What's that, you say? A new round? You got it! Over 60 participating shops have filled the sandy streets of the Wash with more summery deals than you can shake a pool noodle at! We're talking summer fashion for her...for him...even for the wee ones in your SLife. Home decor and furnishings that will help you create the perfect nautical, tropical vibe. Even some pretty hot DIY items for those of you who beat your own drum and like creating your own one-of-a-kind items!

The event runs from July 15th (so we're almost a week in) to August 5th, which gives you tons of time to get down to the Wash and check it out for yourself. Keep an eye on this blog space, we'll be bringing another look at some of the great items you can find in the next couple of days. Also, while you're at The Wash, be sure to check out the Treasure Trove Gacha Yard Sale and the amazing home team shops who are on the sim year round.
