SL Freebie Hunters: BiAnnual Wash Sale

Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. If you would like to follow the events being posted there, here is a link to the album page for our account: Flickr Albums. These are not blog posts, but simply pictures of the gifts available. Thank you!

Thank You to all of the creators!

Bi-Annual Cart Sale, p2

I'm back with another look at some of the amazing things you can find at the current round of the Cart Sale going on at The Wash. Everything is 10L during this event, but the catch is that it's for a limited time only: this round ends September 5th, and once these sale prices are gone, they are gone for good!

The merchants had no theme for this round, which means you can find a little bit of everything here - from summer fashions to that perfect outfit for cooler fall days coming up soon, decor for your house whether you like little pretties or are thinking ahead to Halloween, and even some pretty nice textures and build items to help bring out your creative side.

Bi-Annual Cart Sale, pt. 5

One more post on the Bi-Annual Cart Sale, folks. This will be the last post for the event, but the shopping continues until July 6th, so you still have lots of time to get out there and pick up a few goodies for yourself if you haven't visited yet. I have been blogging items since the event opened, and everything shown to date barely scratches the surface of what you will find there - they have almost 90 designers set up on the sim, so there is still a lot to see that I haven't been able to show.

As with all the Cart Sale events, items are priced 10L or under, making this one of the best shopping deals going on right now in SL. Its the perfect way to get ready for the best SL summer yet. Hope to see you there!

Event Dates: June 15 - July 6
