SL Freebie Hunters: Elven Forest

Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. If you would like to follow the events being posted there, here is a link to the album page for our account: Flickr Albums. These are not blog posts, but simply pictures of the gifts available. Thank you!

Thank You to all of the creators!

Elven Hunt, pt. 2

We lucked out and picked up a couple more goodies from the ongoing Elven Hunt hosted by Fi's Hunts to share with you. There are roughly 20 stores taking part in the current hunt, so if you are looking for a fun way to spend an evening or two before the holiday madness sets in, be sure to check them out. Good Luck!

Elven Forest Hunt

The turkey is finished and it's not quite time to begin trimming the tree yet, but it IS the perfect time to check out the Elven Hunt hosted by Fi's Hunts. This hunt runs from December 1 to the 31st and would be a great way to unwind a bit and give yourself a breather before gearing up for the onslaught of upcoming holiday events in SL.

There are roughly 30 stores in this free hunt path and you are looking for a cube with the hunt sign texture on it. There are hints available on the official blog if you get stuck along the way.

Good Luck!
