Gothmas Finale

Gothmas by Gaslight runs from now until January 2, 2015 so you have tons of time to visit the event and do some holiday shopping, exploring the sims or just kicking back and enjoying the music during the sets being offered at Club Gothika. This is a must not miss event if you prefer your holidays to be more candlelight and falling snow than fat jolly men and screaming hordes at the mall.

We've come to the end of our goodies with this post, but there are tons of stuff still to see that we haven't blogged (and I haven't had the opportunity yet to do my own explorations and shopping!), but if we luck into more items from this event to show, we will update the blog posts.

Also, if you haven't joined Cursed Shoppers, you should. Group join is open/free and this is the place to find information about all Cursed Event schedules as well as information from the various merchants taking part throughout the year in their various events. Gothmas Goodies Galore

We've got another peek into the beautiful holiday items available right now at the Gothmas by Gaslight shopping/gacha festival. This is a special event hosted by the Cursed Event folks every year that celebrates the more glamorous side of the gothy/alternative/darkly inclined communities of Second Life. The beautiful snow-covered holiday villages on the Cursed and Sium sims provide an elegant backdrop for the shops to show off their wares and create a warm, festive atmosphere for shopping, exploring or just hanging out at Club Gothika.

We've mentioned this in other posts, but there is also something new presented by the Cursed Events group this year - Cursed Shoppers. This is a new group designed to help keep you up to date on all the Cursed Events and to make a place where shoppers can chat and gacha lovers can trade their treasures. Enrollment in the group is free, just search "Cursed Shoppers" under the group tab of your SL browser or use the group key (fe9d4c5b-4fa9-a1df-dd7e-adb54a334366).

The event runs from December 15th to January 3rd, so you have plenty of time to explore and enjoy what Gothmas has to offer.

'Tis the season to be Gothy

Gothmas. The very word evokes images of cold wintery nights, sumptuous holiday decor and the soft scent of mulled spices. People decked out in rich finery, the warm glow of candle light, a time of dark cheer and revelry.

If you prefer your holidays to have a darkly elegant flair, this is the event for you. Over 60 merchants from all over SL have come together to bring you tons of gorgeous things to make your holiday season special this year. You will find everything from clothing and accessories to home decor and furnishings, and even a few items that defy categorization. There are gachas galore and many shops have exclusives that will not be available once Gothmas ends.

Gothmas by Gaslight's production team, Cursed Events, has also started a new group this season intended for shoppers and gacha trading called Cursed Shoppers. Joining is open/free and this is the place to find information about all Cursed Event schedules as well as information from the various merchants taking part throughout the year in their various events. Gothmas by Gaslight '14 is open!

Twisted Krissmuss is in full swing, there are dozens of holiday-themed hunts going on and now to add to the end of year frolicking - Gothmas by Gaslight is officially open! I'll be showcasing a plethora of gorgeous, darkly festive items from the event over the next few days put together by some truly talented designers.

The Gothmas event is spread over 2 sims and includes the Gothika mobile unit. There are over 60 shops filled with clothing, accessories, makeups, home decor and furnishings - everything you could possibly want to celebrate this holiday season without a ho ho ho in sight. And did I mention that there are gachas?

Gothmas is also kicking off a new group this time around - Cursed Shoppers. The group is intended for gacha trading and shoppers and is open/free to join. This will be the best place to get upcoming information about Gothmas by Gaslight as well as other Cursed Event events. The group key is: fe9d4c5b-4fa9-a1df-dd7e-adb54a334366 - type this number into the ALL search tab in your in-world browser and the link to the group will come up. Or simply search for Cursed Shoppers under the group tab.

The event will run from December 15th until January 3rd, so there is plenty of time to shop, take in a set at Club Gothika, or just explore the gorgeous villages (there are some really nice spots for winter photos!). More information can be found at the official Gothmas by Gaslight blog as well.
