Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Skull N Bones Hunt
Ahoy landlubbers! Time to dust off that feathered captain hat, polish yer cutlass, and stock up on crackers for Polly - the Skull-N-Bones Pirate Hunt has kicked off and thar be booty scattered across the grid, ripe for the plundering! This is a great hunt and we had an absolute blast doing it. You are searching for hidden treasure chests, each costing a linden and each filled to the brim with tempting treats from some fantastic designers. All the information you need, as well as hints along the way, are available from the official blog or if you need a little more help, there is an in-world group you can join. This is a really fun theme - Entropy and I went all out when we hunted, dragging out our best pirate finery and dressing up in pirate gear as we pillaged our way along the hunt path. Thar be treasure out there, Mates - so gather yer merry band o' buccaneers and set sail on an adventure!
