Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Skull & Bones Hunt: 51-100

We are 2/3 of the way through our loot, and the designers have done a fantastic job with the pirate theme. We have clothes, we have accessories, we have ships and islands and taverns - all the things needed to go wild and create your own version of "Pirates of the Caribbean"...well, almost...no one created an SL!Johnny Depp bot. This is really just a fun hunt to do, and we encourage everyone to get out there and give it a try. It *IS* a 1L per gift hunt, but for the 150L the hunt will cost you, you are getting one heck of a deal for all this good stuff - which should really appeal to your inner buccaneer!
