Another of my very favorite hunts is currently going on - the 2nd year of the Gothmas By Gaslight Hunt. Last year's hunt was a great success and this year's looks to be even better! There are just over 100 stores in the hunt path, and every gift we have unpacked so far has been gorgeous - beautifuly textured (the pics don't do it justice) and very well built. There an official blog that has all the Slurls and information you need. There are no hints for this hunt, however if you read the hunter information page on the official blog, you get the information you need to help you along the way (such as what the item looks like, that it should be located within 50m of the landing, decoy limits, etc.)
There are a few stores who aren't quite ready yet, but again - the official blog covers this and is kept up-to-date on a regular basis. Use it. Its your best resource for the hunt. That being said, we got through the hunt fairly easily. Some of the bells are quite cleverly hidden, and others are easier to spot - but we had a great time. Lots of old and new stores made the cut this year which is always a great thing to us in terms of hunting: we like to see our old favorites, but it's always exciting to get to explore new spots.
This post covers the first half of the hunt, more or less. There were a couple stores I moved to the planned 2nd post simply because of hardware issues - mesh stuff requiring a mesh viewer (which i need to install), but which is too cute to NOT show and a couple that had a slow start but have a gift out that we went back to pick up. This is definitely not a hunt to miss!
