Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. MENStuff Hunt: 1-50

MENstuff Hunt
In case you missed it....MENSTUFF HUNT IS HERE AND GOING ON NOW! I love this hunt in a serious way, not just because you poor guys get shafted on the hunts so often which always makes the all guy hunts a treat, but because this hunt has one of the most lively, fun online groups I have encountered. One hundred fifty one stores of all male goodness for you to gather up as you explore the stores and scratch your head at some of the tougher clues. There is an official blog with all the stores, SLurls and hints which is kept up to date by the hunt coordinators and there are fantastic official and nonofficial hunt helpers in the group pretty much any hour of the day or night you happen to be out hunting. You do need to have group tags in order to get the gifts, and you are looking fo a sculpted blue t-shirt which has been hidden in some pretty wicked places. Do this hunt with a friend, or if you are more the lone wolf kind, bring your best cam game and hit the trail of shirts. Even if you aren't a guy, several of the gifts work quite well as unisex items, or can be modded to fit a more feminine form. The hunt runs to the end of the month, so you have plenty of time to enjoy all the fun this one has - including a contest coming up at the end of the month for hunters!
