Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Rocky Horror Hunt

Rocky Horror Hunt
"It's just a jump to the left...and then a step to the right...put your hands on your hips...you bring your knees in tight...but its the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane...let's do the time warp again!" Here's a sweet little hunt for those of you who love the Rocky Horror Picture show - the designers have done a fantastic job in bringing you a selection of hunt gifts that pay homage to one of my all-time favorite movies. The hunt runs fairly smoothly, there is an official blog with a few hints and SLurls, as well as the list of stores participating in the hunt. You may have to search a few locations and rename some of the folders to keep them straight, but we were able to dance through this one over the weekend without too much trouble. This would be a great hunt to do with a bunch of your craziest friends in SL, everyone dolled up in character from the movie.
