Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Killing Cupid Hunt
Woo-Hoo! Welcome to SL Freebie Hunters Blog's first gridwide hunt: Killing Cupid! We're excited about the start of this project, and we hope you guys have as much fun on it as we had putting it together. We've gathered a group of great designers - some who are old hands at the hunt scene and some who are giving it a try for the first time. We have (finally!) put together an in-world group for the hunt, which will carry over as an in-world group for the blog. Updated information and help with hints can be found there for people who need an extra hand. We also have a blog page (look on the right side of this page, under the name "Killing Cupid Hunt") with Slurls and hints from the stores who provided them.

The hunt runs until March 10th, so get on out there, have a great time, and Happy Hunting! =)
