We diverged a bit from our usual hunt haunts this week and did the Moolto Sister Hunt. It was pretty smooth sailing and we got to visit some pretty interesting places. Unlike most hunts we do, joining the Moolto group (cost: 25L) is mandatory to do the hunt - you need to have the group tag on and be wearing the glasses available in the starting hunt packs in order for the scripted gifts to give you a folder when you find them. Also, the folders are not labeled with the store names and do not contain LMs to the next location - you have to get that information from their official blog, which has hints and Slurls for all the hunt stops. For that reason, rather than numbering the gifts we are showing like we usually do, they are simply tagged with the store name.
There were a few what the heck moments in the hunt - such as one store that is spread over multiple sims with a not very helpful clue as to where to go and what to do, or being dropped in the middle of a mall with no idea what store you are looking for - but even so, we were able to get through the hunt in one night so with a little perseverance and thinking outside the box, you should have no difficulties with finding everything. The gifts more than make up for the craziness - there is a little bit of everything here from clothing and accessories to fighter planes and a lighthouse. This would be a fun hunt to spread out over the weekend if you have some free time.

Thanks for posting. I opted out of this one as frequently have problems and didn't feel like paying $25 to hunt (a new thing with them). So good to see what was there. They shoulder pet is ALSO on the Silk Road Hunt for free (pagoda) :D.
ReplyDeletei THOUGHT that was new! I remembered doing a chunk of one of their hunts before and I didn't remember having to pay for it the last time around. And anyone who like the little shoulder pets - GO GET ONE - they are really adorable...in addition to sitting on your shoulder, the wee critter moves around, peeks over your shoulder while hanging down your back, etc.
