Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. 7.5 Hours To Go!!


Its almost time, Twisted hunters! 

 You have just enough time to pack a snack, make a trip to the bathroom, and kiss your loved ones goodbye - the 9th biannual Twisted Hunt kicks off at midnight SL time tonight! We have around 150 of some of SL's best designers taking part in creating this absolutely unforgettable experience. You will cry. You will scream in frustration. You will curse the designers, their warped minds, and the day you discovered that this hunt exists. You will completely fall under Twisted's spell. You will love this hunt. And when its over, you will be begging for more.

Be warned, though: this is not for the faint of heart. In addition to the major store prizes to be found, many stores have gachas, mini-hunts and other special events going on. Additionally, when you reach the end of the hunt, you need to muster enough fortitude to survive the End Game before you earn your Twisted Survivor tags.

Over the next few days, we will be showcasing the incredible gifts and extras that the designers have been kind enough to send us. This will not by any means be a complete show of every Twisted goodie out there - some things are just better discovered for yourself! The clock is ticking, folks....Twisted is almost here!
