Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. The Black Event @ The Wash, pt. 2

Holy cow!!  This has been the longest post to get up online in ages!  Every time I was ready to publish, another of the oh-so generous designers taking part in the Black Event sent in more stuff to show you guys!

Tomorrow is a holiday (Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the States!), so its a perfect chance to spend some time in SL doing a little retail therapy in order to warm up for the holiday season.  The Black Event is running until December 4th, so you still have almost a week before you miss out on all these great deals and the free 8-ball hunt going on at The Wash.  Remember - cart items are mostly all 10L or under, there are event exclusives available for 50L, and the 8-balls for the hunt are free.
