Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. The Black Event @ The Wash, pt. 1

Its that time again, folks - The Black Event has kicked off at the Wash sim.  The event coordinators have spiced it up a bit this time around:  in addition to the usual 10L items on all the carts, the designers had the option of setting out up to 3 event exclusive items tagged at 50L and there is a sim-wide hunt for hidden 8-balls.  Each 8-ball is free and contains a gift from one of the designers participating in the event.  As far as I know, there are 21 8-balls out there, but since there is no list of exactly which designers are taking part, it is entirely possible that there may be more balls hidden.

The Black Event runs from November 20th until December 4th, so be sure to drop by and check out what they have to offer.  With the holidays coming soon, its a great time to revamp your wardrobe or pick up something pretty to decorate your house.
