Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Twisted Time Warp, pt. 7

The first wave of hunters has mostly made it to the end of the hunt, or are still working through the final stores and congratulations to those who have completed the End Game and earned their survivor tags! The second wave is steadily making gains as well – although they are facing a slightly more challenging hunt, as many of the prizes have been moved since the beginning of the hunt. There is definitely an advantage to doing the hunt early in the month – prizes are generally easier to find.

Once you get a few obnoxious people through who yell out locations, stand on top of gifts, teleport their friends to the locations, create cheat sheets, etc – well, then the merchants REALLY put their evil minds to work at making it harder.

We’ve got another look at some of the great prizes and gifts from the Time Warp hunt. If you are currently doing the hunt or planning to do the hunt, don’t miss out on the side games! I’ve been spending time the last couple nights just doing the extra stuff. These games are amazing and the gifts you’ll find are pretty cool too!
