Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Sunny Side Up Cart Sale, p.4

I will admit to being a somewhat of a slacker over the past weekend - in addition to Sunday being Mother's Day (hi Mom!), it was also my RL birthday and I may or may not have indulged in a little too much chocolate cake and spent a chunk of Saturday sleeping it off. =) But the weekend is over, we're back on track with not only more gorgeous goodies from the Sunny Side Up Cart Sale, but also some big news about the event!

First the big news: The lovely Powers-That-Be behind the scenes decided that there was so much good stuff at the Sunny Side Up event that it deserved a little extra shopping time, and so the event has been extended from the 16th through the coming weekend. That means you get a whole extra 4 days' worth of shopping. So if you haven't made it over yet, or if you have been hemming and hawing over coming back for a second sweep of the carts to see what you missed, now is the time to do it.

This is the first time I can remember that the event has been extended like this, so be sure to take advantage of the extra time and stock up on these amazing 10 to 50L items before they are all gone. Hope to see you there!
