Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. The Liaison Collaborative - 4th Birthday

The Liaison Collaborative is a monthly shopping event that brings together some of the top designers in SL each month to showcase their gorgeous creations. The event has a little bit of everything, from the latest fashion to exquisite accessories to top line items for your home and living spaces. The event opens with a new theme on the 7th of each month and runs to the end of the month. This month, TLC is celebrating their 4th birthday - which means many of the creators have put out gifts to help spread the excitement. I have a peek at some of the gifts you will find, plus a couple must-have items my inner shopper was unable to resist.

Rally to Rescue 2, pt. 2

There is just under a week left in this round of Rally to Rescue and I have another peek at some of the great items you will find at the event. If you haven't dropped by and checked them out yet, now is the time. This is a nice shopping event with some great stores taking part and best of all - 100% of the sales proceeds will be donated to help abused animals. Its a great way to help out a good cause!

Rally to Rescue 2

Last July, I was fortunate enough to be included in blogging the Rally to Rescue shopping event hosted by the Ghost Bullys 1% MC. Those fine folks have pulled together another Rally to Rescue event, again with the proceeds from all event sales being donated to non-profit, no kill volunteer animal rescue organizations. These are not bargain items - everything is full price, but the money goes to a really good cause, helping care for animals who need our help.

This is only a peek at some of the wonderful items designers have donated for the event, there is a lot more to see than just what I've pictured in this post. The last Rally to Rescue was a great success and they were able to make a fantastic donation to the animal rescue, so please come on out and help make this round a success as well. Its a great opportunity to help out - and yes, I am a sucker for animal causes! =)
