Dare2Bare2 Hunt

Last year's Dare2Bare Hunt was a huge success, and this year's is shaping up to be just as good. The coordinators have put together a fantastic group of stores, both well-known and not-so-well known, and the gifts from these vendors are wonderful. The designs are sexy, colorful, and you are sure to find something to titillate your senses - and guys, there are a few items here for you as well.

That being said - this is not a hunt for the faint of heart. The hunt items do not contain LMs to the next location, so it is absolutely vital that you refer to the official blog for the list of stores, SLurls, and store hints. For those of you who have difficulties running SL with another window open, I suggest copy/pasting the official blog info to a notecard to use in-world. Also, the hunt items are not numbered/labeled with store names, so you will end up with a mishmash of folders for the hunt - I advise creating a Dare2Bare folder in your inventory before you start, and adding the hunt item folders to it as you go. You might also want to rename them with numbers or store names so you can remember where the gifts inside came from since some do not give you LMs to the store, in case you really like something and want to go back for more intensive shopping.

You have all month, so take your time, hunt with a friend, and enjoy the Dare2Bare2 Hunt! Also, as a side note, our best wishes to Julya Lykin for a continued speedy recovery. =)

Darkness Inside Hunt: 1-58

Kastle Rock Gridwide Hunts has a reputation for well-put together events and The Darkness Inside Hunt doesn't fail to deliver. The hunt is filled with quality stores offering wonderful gifts, as well as a few new places to explore along the way. There is an in-world group to join, as well as an official blog with SLurls and hints to help the hunters as they work through the hunt path. I enjoyed this hunt a great deal and picked up some nice little bargains along the way, so while you are looking for the hunt gift, be sure to check out the sales and specials some stores are offering.

I hit a couple of minor snags along the hunt path - a couple places where either the gift wasn't out or was so well hidden I completely missed it. In each case, however, there was a sample of the hunt item by the hunt signs with an LM to the next location, so there was never a spot where the hunt continuity got broken. Grab your hunt pals and give this one a shot - at 117 stores, it's more than you can do in one evening, but its definitely worth spending a little time checking out.

Perfect Couples Hunt: 51-108

Part 2 of the Perfect Couple Hunt went just as smoothly as the first part. The official blog and the in-world group notices have all the information you need for which stores are skipped, moved or dropped from the hunt so you don't get stuck anywhere, as well as hints in case you need them in some of the stores. The gifts were gorgeous - there are some really excellent poses and builds in this hunt which you are sure to find a use for, especially if you enjoy taking pictures in SL. Another bonus was that this half of the hunt was chock full of new-to-me stores, which just combined to make this a great hunt. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and you will too. So grab your favorite hunting partner, significant other, that cute guy you like to dance with now and then, and go have some fun - there is no telling where this hunt might lead you!

Titillating Tatas Hunt

Yikes!! Boobs everywhere! This post and this hunt are not for the faint of heart - 26 stores bringing you cheeky, sexy, silly gifts celebrating bodacious tatas! This was a quick, fun little hunt with some really cute gifts for the hunters. Because of adult ratings on the blog, most items are shown with flesh-tone pasties being worn which are *NOT* included in the gifts, but which made it possible to show the pasties and nipple jewelry without having to censor the images to death. This was a lot of fun - I started it the night it kicked off, and I only ran into a couple of snags, which were being ironed out the following day when I finished the hunt path. One spot to look out for is Camilla's Eclectic Designs - when you land, there are signs all over saying the store has moved, and giving out a new LM, but the original store is still there, intact, and selling things. The hunt item was still at the old store, not the new one, when I did the hunt, so check there first before you hop to the new location. I'm not sure if they were still in the process of moving from one spot to another or what, but check it out before you take the new LM.

For those keeping score, I am still fighting with my computer, so bear with me for a little longer as it is taking forever to get things edited and uploaded for the blog. Whatever this nasty in my system is, it is impacting my ability to get online using a browser, which in turn means its pretty much a hail mary move every time I try to open Firefox. Looks like my machine is headed for a complete overhaul, including an upgrade from WinXp to Win 7 over the coming week or so. Soon as I can get online for any appreciable length of time, the May Hunts list will be updated and all that good stuff so you know what we are aiming to cover this month.
