Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Diamond Is Mine Hunt 2: 1-50

Diamond is Mine 2 Hunt
This is the second edition of the Diamond is Mine Hunt, and it is chock-full of great gifts from some pretty amazing stores. There are gorgeous clothes for men and women, skins, shapes, and accessories that will look fantasic with just about any fashion statement you want to make. The hunt went fairly smoothly - this post covers the first half, and we had no problems finding any of the stores. We had a couple issues with the give scripts in the diamonds due to SL lag, but all in all, it was an enjoyable run and we definitely recommend doing the hunt. You don't have much time left, it ends on April 11th, but that should be more then enough time to get through all 101 stores at a comfortable pace. Some locations have more than 1 diamond and the blog provides SLurls to each location in case you get stuck somewhere. Diamonds are a girl's best friend, and this hunt definitely proves that! =)
