Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. The Silk Road Hunt: 45-88

This hunt just keeps getting better! I spent the weekend finishing the Silk Road and a few other goodies for the blog later this week, and when I said before that the Silk Road Hunts make my poor overcrammed inventory cry, I wasn't kidding! There are some absolutely gorgeous items on this hunt, and if you have the time, this is NOT a hunt to miss out on. There are/were still a few glitches with the path as I went through, but the coordinators are still working on the problem areas, and the in-world group has updates on fixed stores and a continually updates list of LMs and hints available for the hunters. Navigating the path was extremely easy with all the great information from the group. You have to the end of the month, so take your time and explore the glories of the Silk Path.
