Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Bad Santa Christmas Hunt

Bad santa Christmas Hunt
We spent the weekend knee-deep in hunts, and we have all kinds of treasures to share with you guys! Today we're taking a look at the Bad Santa Christmas Hunt, coordinated by Hunts & Shizz. This hunt marks one year since they began putting on hunts, and we had a great time following this hunt path! The stores were great, the gifts were beautifully made, and the coordination impeccable - we didn't come across a single skip/not ready store, and we did the hunt the day after it began. This is definitely a shorty hunt (under 30 stores), but it was a lot of fun and would make a great way to spend an evening or two while the Christmas spirit is infecting the grid. =)

    You didn't have any problem using the blog for these locations? 9 was the wrong store and 18 deposited me 2000m up in the sky. When I landed there was no store. Probably going to pass. Troublesome locations irk me. lol

    Hiya, Solbrio - the LM inside gift 17 lands you in the correct store for store 18, as does the one inside gift 8 for store 9 - i try to use the given LMs and refer to the blog just for hints or if an LM given in the hunt gift is wrong. I went back and double checked before responding, just to be sure - I generally make a NC as I hunt, marking issues I find, and I didnt have any written for this hunt, so it should be fairly smooth for you hunters. Try sticking to the given LMs, and referring to the blog if you get stuck.
