SL Freebie Hunters: The Fashionista Hunt

Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. The Fashionista Hunt

We had planned to bring the Supernatural Hunt 3 next, but after spending a considerable amount of time wrestling with the pictures due to technical difficulties which made it impossible to get them edited, we moved ahead to The Fashionista Hunt.

This was a fairly interesting hunt for us to do. There were several not ready/skipped stores per the blog, but we were able to navigate through without too much difficulty. You are looking for a bright pink shopping bag, and for such a seemingly-easy to spot item, the designers had some pretty clever hiding spots for it. All the usual help aids (hints, slurls, in-world group) are there if you need them. There are only a few more days of this hunt, but you should be able to complete it easily over a couple of evenings.
