Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Twisted Time Warp, pt.2

On the off chance that you have been living under a rock in SL for the last 6 years, we've got a quick rundown of the past Twisted hunt colors and themes: Original Twisted/red, Nightmares/purple, Strange Brew/green, Spooky/orange, Nevermore/blood red, Unseelie/indigo, Arcane/verdigris, Darkness/dark blue, Delirium/gunmetal, Carnival/striped and Magick/eggplant.

Put all that wonderful past insanity together, add new cubes with multi-colored sides, run it through the minds of some fabulously talented and screwed up designers and you have the Twisted Time Warp - a once-in-a-lifetime shot for the Twisted merchants to revisit old themes and colors and for hunters to score not only new Twisted goodies, but a chance at some of the older stuff they may have missed the first time around.

The second day of Twisted is coming to an end (at least in my timezone), but the fun and excitement has not let up at all from opening night. There are side games galore, more gachas than you can shake a stick at, and so many deviously hidden gifts just waiting to be found - what more could you ask for?

Xtreme DesignsYes, these are just silhouettes. No, you have no idea how I risked life and limb sneaking into Lucian’s store to get a sneak peek for the blog. The man is Deviousness personified and I was lucky to escape with just this and not get dropped into his side game without a map. =)
